We are a family-owned, third generation building firm, operating primarily in County Limerick and County Kerry.

Originally established as James O’Sullivan Builder over thirty years ago, we have maintained our tradition of high work standards, reliability, customer care, and timely service. Our dedicated team of experienced and fully qualified tradespeople are directly employed, and we utilise a panel of carefully selected subcontractors with a proven track record.

Historically, we’ve successfully completed a wide variety of projects including hotels, filling stations, schools, and restorations. Due to demand, our core focus remains on high-spec, residential projects.

Our People

J&B O’Sullivan Builders Ltd recognises that the construction industry is people-intensive and regards its manpower resource as the most valuable asset. Employees undergo regular needs-based training to ensure they are up to date with the latest developments. Our contracts manager and other members of the management team regularly attend exhibitions and seminars to keep themselves abreast of new technology and methodologies. Most of our personnel are long-serving employees who have been selected over the years based on their expertise and dedication to their work.

Adrian O’Sullivan, Director and Contracts Manager

Adrian is a highly experienced and knowledgeable construction professional with over twenty years’ experience in various aspects of construction and construction management. Adrian brings several key areas of expertise include customer engagement, sourcing subcontractors, developing partnerships, satisfying clients, and creating constructive rapport with architects.

James O’Sullivan Jnr, Director and Site Foreman

James has worked in the construction sector for over twenty years, with extensive knowledge of all aspects of the building process. James’s key areas of expertise include site supervision, project management, sub-contractor coordination and management of carpentry projects. With his broad range of construction experience, James brings the knowledge and perspective necessary to direct the development and successful outcome of every project. James is also the Site Safety Officer and has completed the IOSH Managing Safely in Construction course.

Betty O’Sullivan, Director and Secretary

Betty has worked in the construction sector for thirty years and is a co-founder of J&B O’Sullivan Builders Ltd. Betty’s role in the business includes financial management, payroll, and administration duties.

James O’Sullivan, Managing Director

The managing director brings over thirty-five years of construction experience to the firm. James established the original business under his own name in 1977 and went on to form J&B O’Sullivan Builders Ltd in 2006. With his practical knowledge of the construction process, James provides strong support to the operational team.
